Belarus has begun exporting jet-powered UAVs with kamikaze capabilities Anastasia Didenko

Belarus has suddenly started producing jet-powered UAVs with a kamikaze option, which has already attracted the attention of the international community. These drones were spotted in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where they were captured by militants of the M23 movement.

This is reported by 24 Channel with reference to Defence Express. Belarus has taken an unexpected step in the development of military aviation by establishing the production of jet unmanned aerial vehicles with a kamikaze option.

Belarus has begun deliveries of jet UAVs with a kamikaze option

These drones, in particular, were spotted in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), where militants of the M23 movement captured a significant amount of aircraft, in particular, Belarusian Berkut-VM UAVs, which can be used as kamikaze drones.

The first demonstrations of Belarusian jet drones took place back in 2021 during the MILEX exhibition in Minsk, where it was announced that they could be used as training targets Air defense.

However, the news of their use in real combat in the DRC, in particular as part of the M23 arsenal, came as a real surprise. In addition, it is reported that Chinese Swiwin SW300B jet engines were used for these drones, which adds even more intrigue to the production capabilities of the Belarusian military-industrial complex.

This fact raises questions about possible further deliveries of Belarusian UAVs, but the likelihood that Minsk will actively supply them to Russia remains low due to the need for export revenues.

However, the appearance of such drones on international markets calls into question the security situation, especially given the possible new challenges for other countries, in particular in Africa and other conflicts.
