Belarus is ready to declare martial law and mobilization – Zhdanov

by alex

Belarus is one of the few countries that contributes to the aggressive policy of Vladimir Putin. However, it became known that a Russian military plane crashed at the local airfield.

Military expert Oleg Zhdanov told about this on his YouTube channel, Channel 24 reports. There is no official information about the explosions yet.

On February 26, two explosions were heard at the Machulishchi military airfield in Belarus. As a result, a military transport aircraft and snowplows were damaged.

Zhdanov said that the airfield area, located 12 kilometers from Minsk, is now completely cordoned off.

What kind of explosions they are, what their nature is and who provoked them is still unknown,” the expert added.

Belarus may announce mobilization

Belarus is ready to mobilize 1.5 million people for the needs of the army. This will happen in the event of the introduction of martial law and the transition of the country to a military footing. This statement was made by State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Alexander Volfovich.

Currently, the professional army of Belarus has 48,000 people and 12,000 border guards.

As I understand it, Belarusians are ready to take a duffel bag and go to the draft board, or maybe not. However, the country's leadership is ready to declare martial law and general mobilization,” Zhdanov noted.
