On the evening of January 7, a Russian plane was seen near Mariupol, which, according to preliminary information, was flying towards Rostov-on-Don. However, it did not fly, because it flashed right in the sky and went down in loops.
Enemy air activity
It happened around 17:30. It is worth noting that in general, during these days, a high activity of enemy aircraft was recorded over the city, but it looked more like training than combat operations.
It is reported from the spot that at about 17:30 in the Mariupol region, the Russian plane flared up on the way towards Rostov-on-Don and went down in loops. What it was and the further fate of the aircraft is still unknown, but an interesting trend, – said Petr Andryushchenko.
Another occupant movement in the city
Also, during the day, the movement of not only aircraft of the invaders was recorded in the city. Also on the streets of the city were marked:
- a column of two S-300 air defense systems,
- 10 tractors,
- 2 civilian-looking trucks, escorted by police.
They moved in the direction of Mariupol – Mangush – Berdyansk direction.
It is interesting that seven tractors are empty, probably, somewhere there the equipment of the invaders is “despondent” and requires a long rest at the repair base. – wrote the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol.
It was also possible to fix trucks with ammunition, manpower and armored personnel carriers moving towards Donetsk, as well as the manpower of the invaders in Nikolsky. Petr Andryushchenko suggests that this may indicate a rotation or replenishment of the personnel of the invaders.
“In general, it doesn’t smell like a truce. Standard regrouping and replenishment throughout the day. Such a Z-Christian,” Andryushchenko added.
What is happening in Mariupol now: briefly
- Petr Andryushchenko also previously reported that today Mariupol is a large base for the Russians. They bring mobilized people there, a lot of equipment and air defense systems. In particular, a new “batch” of newly mobilized Russians was recently brought into the city.
- However, there is no solidity between the occupiers in Mariupol. They try to divide spheres of influence and money, and even regularly arrange shootouts among themselves.
- Also, because of the numerous complaints of Mariupol residents about “Putin's office”, for the first time since the occupation, Pushilin from Ivashchenko received nuts from the leadership. To subtract the leader of the so-called “DPR” and the local Gauleiter, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin arrived in the occupied city.
