According to Bayraktar, investments amount to about $100 million. He added that construction has already begun, and the new plant plans to provide jobs for at least 300 person.
— Construction has already begun. It will take about 1.5 years to complete. We plan to have at least 300 people working here. Cooperation continues, — said the CEO of Baykar.
He also emphasized that this production will be environmentally friendly and self-sufficient, since Ukraine has unique technologies for the production of engines that will be used in drones, and the Turkish side — drones on which these engines are installed.
Haluk Bayraktar expressed support for Ukraine, and said that his company is not here to increase its own profits, but to maximum support the fight for freedom and independence.
In July, it was reported that the Baykar company began construction in Ukraine of a plant for the production of attack drones Bayraktar TB2 and Bayraktar Akinci.
