The Armed Forces are repelling numerous enemy attacks in the Pokrovsk direction, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers.
Over the past 24 hours, 60 assault and offensive actions by the occupiers have been stopped, Viktor Tregubov, a representative of the Khortitsa Special Forces Command, reported on the air of the United News telethon.
The enemy is avoiding a frontal assault
The Russians are trying to break through the defenses of the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, concentrating their forces on the flanks. According to Tregubov, over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces have stopped 60 assault and offensive actions by the aggressor.

– The fighting is very tough because the Russian occupiers are throwing all their forces forward, trying to break through the defense of our troops, – the speaker emphasized.
He noted that the enemy has a superiority in manpower. The Russians have concentrated three combined arms armies in the Pokrovsky direction – the 2nd, 41st and 51st of the Central Military District of the Russian Federation.
The occupiers are attempting to avoid a frontal assault, trying to break through the defense from the flanks. At the same time, the enemy's losses are very significant.
– Over the past 24 hours, our defenders have destroyed 261 occupiers, 133 of them irreparably. A communications vehicle was also destroyed, Tregubov said.
Russians are concentrating battles in the vicinity of Pokrovsk
According to the representative of the OSUV Khortitsa, the enemy is trying to advance as close to the city outskirts as possible in order to avoid a direct assault and encircle the city.
While no combat operations or enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups have yet been recorded in Pokrovsk itself, the invaders are trying to force the Ukrainian forces to retreat by fighting on the outskirts.
The Armed Forces are demonstrating resilience, stopping numerous enemy assaults and not giving them the opportunity to impose their tactics.
Recall that according to information from the General Staff, Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces repelled 60 enemy assaults in the areas of Vozdvizhenka, Mirolyubovka, Luch, Lisovka, Novy Trud, Dachenskoye, Shevchenko, Volchye and Novovasilyevka in the Pokrovsk direction.
A total of 266 combat clashes were recorded on the front. The occupiers launched 1 missile strike, dropped 34 guided aerial bombs and carried out 4,385 shellings, including 140 from multiple launch rocket systems.
