Borodin noted that Ukrainian forces are currently in a difficult defense format in the Avdiivka area.
– Some units work with us at 360 degrees, that is, the situation is really difficult, and one of the elements — this is that the enemy can hit almost completely 360 degrees in some areas. This does not mean that we are completely surrounded in these areas, but it does mean that it can hit,” the press officer emphasized.
Previously, the speaker of the Tavria operational-strategic group of troops, Dmitry Likhovy, on the air of the national telethon Unified News, said that Avdievka is not surrounded, but the situation there is critical.
