Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces General Alexander Syrsky announced an increase in the duration of basic general training of the military from 49 days to 51. Additional days were allocated for training in countering drones.
He wrote about this on his Telegram channel, talking about the results of the monthly staff meeting.
– Two days will be added for training servicemen to counter enemy strike UAVs. This is one of the innovations of the sixth edition of the BZVP program, work on which is being completed, – the commander-in-chief said.
In addition, according to him, psychological training of military personnel will be strengthened to increase their combat readiness.

The training direction will be supervised by the newly appointed Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Major General Igor Skibyuk.
Let us recall that earlier the duration of military training was increased from 30 days to 1.5 months.
