Sergei Deineko visited the border with Belarus near Chernobyl. After all, it was on this site that Lukashenka allowed the Russians to attack Ukraine in February.
That is why this territory was checked by the head of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Serhiy Deineko. He made sure that he was fortified and protected as much as possible.
Border guards fortify the border with Belarus
Defense forces as much as possible they are strengthening all sections of the border with Belarus, the State Border Service reported.
In particular, so that the enemy does not attack again, our border guards are there along with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard and the police:
- destroyed access roads;
- arranged the necessary defensive elements and engineering barriers.
“This direction remains no less threatening than others, because we remember well that Belarus allowed units armed forces of Russia to invade through the Chernobyl zone,” the State Border Service recalled.
They also assured that at present the border along the exclusion zone has been strengthened.
It is also worth saying that Vladimir Zelensky said that nothing is now known about the invaders who seized the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in February. However, there was information that they were not alive. After all, it is known that the enemies dug trenches in the Red Forest, in which the maximum level of radioactive contamination.
