Air bombs falling on Russian territory

Over the year, about 38 Russian glider bombs fell on the territory of the Belgorod region as a result of the actions of the Russian Federation, which launched shells to attack Ukraine.

According to The Washington Post, citing internal documents of the Russian Federation, we are talking about the period from April 2023 to April 2024, during which powerful glider bombs fell in the region.

As journalists note, most of the KABs did not detonate in Russia, but the shells were found by civilians. Among them — farmers, foresters or residents of villages near Belgorod.

Blackout in the Belgorod region

After a drone attack, a blackout occurred in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. The power outage affected about 90% of the region's residents. The traffic lights didn't work there and there were problems with the Internet connection.

Due to power outages in the Belgorod region, delays and disruptions occurred in passenger transportation on public transport.

According to official sources, the blackout was caused due to external influence on the power facility.

However, journalists claim that the blackout occurred after an attack by drones and the detonation of improvised explosive devices at a substation.
