Bad weather is approaching the Lviv region. Forecasters warn of a yellow hazard due to thunderstorms and storms. People are asked to be careful.
The chief ecologist of Lviv, Oleksandra Sladkova, said that the hurricane, which caused trouble in Germany the day before, is approaching the Lviv region.
According to her, on Saturday, May 21, residents of the Lviv region need to be careful, in particular, do not go to parks and, if possible, park your car away from trees.
What is known about the hurricane in Germany
A huge tornado swept through the German city of Paderborn on May 20th. Bad weather caused a lot of trouble in other cities in the west of the country. The tornado brought down trees and damaged many buildings, there are victims.
Although meteorologists warned of a significant deterioration in the weather on Friday – heavy rains and hail, and storms with wind gusts up to 130 kilometers per hour. However, it all started the day before, on May 19.

By the way, we previously wrote that the weather in Ukraine on Saturday, May 21, will be with a lot of precipitation. Almost all regions will be flooded with rain.
In the west of Ukraine the sky will be cloudy. Forecasters warned of thunderstorms and gusts of wind up to 15 – 24 meters per second. The air will warm up to +23…+25 degrees. There will also be a lot of precipitation in some regions of the East.
Bad weather in Ukraine a few days ago
- < li>May 12, a hurricane swept through the Chernihiv region. The storm wind damaged the roofs of 198 houses in the Koryukovskaya, Snovskaya and Kholminsky territorial communities. 67,969 subscribers were left without electricity in the region.
- On the same day, the city of Shostka, Sumy region, also suffered from bad weather. There, as a result of the hurricane, several buildings were damaged and trees were overthrown. Local residents even managed to film the moment when the roofs were torn off by bad weather. In particular, the buildings of the city pool and the plant management of the Impuls plant were damaged.
- And on May 12, a severe thunderstorm thundered in the capital. As a result, power grids were damaged – power went out in several areas. In addition, the wind knocked down many trees.
