Bad weather is expected in Ukraine/Channel 24

This was reported on July 23 at the Hydrometeorological Center. The State Emergency Service reminded the rules to be observed.
“Attention! According to the Hydrometeorological Center on July 24, in most western regions, during the day on the Right Bank, thunderstorms, in some areas hail and squalls 15 – 20 meters per second,” the forecasters said.
How to act during a thunderstorm
If a thunderstorm caught you at home, you should close the door and war. Do not park cars near trees and tall structures. When you are outdoors, do not hide under tall trees, especially single ones.
Other rules to follow:
- stay as far as possible from metal structures, lamps and power poles;
- in an open area (for example, in a field), find a hole and sit down there. It is important that there are as few points of contact with the ground as possible;
- in the mountains, avoid ledges and elevations;
- limit the use of electrical appliances;

The Kyiv city administration noted that during a thunderstorm, the Kyivavtodor management company will be on duty at the places of possible flooding. If you see flooding, you should contact the control room at: 044-284-74-19.
Important! In case of falling trees, branches or injuring people, immediately inform the emergency services: 101, 103. Phone number of Kyiv rescue service: 044-430-37-13 covered with storms and thunderstorms. Trees and power pylons fell on the streets. Cars were also damaged by trees.
