A difficult situation remains near Avdiivka, but the city, according to current information, is not surrounded. The defensive operation continues there and the logistics artery is activated after supplies became difficult.

Battles in the Avdeevsky direction
— In the Avdeevsky direction, soldiers continue to conduct a defensive operation. Although evacuation supplies are difficult, a backup logistics artery has been activated, which was prepared in advance. Hence the main conclusion — Avdeevka is not surrounded, although Russian propaganda may trumpet this, — he states.
OSGV Tavria speaker noted that the use of small assault groups by Russian occupiers has increased quantitatively. At the same time, the number of enemy airstrikes there has increased.

— In recent days, it seems that all the activity of military aviation and bombers is concentrated not just on Tavria, but in general on the Avdeevsky direction. There were more than 70 airstrikes per day, yesterday there were 43 — this is also a lot. This is significantly more than the statistical average, — he emphasized.
The ratio in the sky does not allow striking Russian aircraft, because they operate at a considerable distance from the line of combat contact and use guided bombs in the Avdiivka direction, according to OSGV Tavria representative.
The situation in the Zaporozhye direction
At the same time, the situation in the Zaporozhye direction is significantly different due to the large length of this section of the front and remains more or less stable, despite the significant concentration of Russian forces, Likhovy noted.
— The group of Russians is concentrated significantly, comparable to Avdeevskaya. It should be taken into account that Avdeevka — this is a narrow strip, urban development, literally a few meters, and 50 thousand or more Russians who are rushing there. The Zaporozhye direction starts almost from the border with Donetsk and goes all the way to the Dnepropetrovsk region, — he emphasized.
So Russian forces are stretched over a large length of the front, so this does not pose a significant threat. At the same time, Likhovy claims that there is no threat to Zaporozhye now, because the situation there remains stable.
