Austria decided to return its diplomats to work in Kyiv. This decision was approved to show the support of the state of Ukraine.

The Austrian Foreign Ministry noted that the diplomats returned to the capital of Ukraine last week. Exactly when is unknown.

We are the only people of Ukraine who fell victim to Russia's unprecedented military aggression. As an important sign of our unwavering solidarity with Ukraine, members of our embassy returned to Kyiv last week. Thanks to the staff for their efforts and dedication,” the message says.

The embassies of the countries return to Kyiv

• Even before the start of the war, countries began expel their diplomats from Kyiv. Some departments moved to Lviv.
• After the Armed Forces of Ukraine expelled the Russian military from our capital, diplomats were returned to work.
• So, the embassies of France, Italy, Turkey started working again in Kyiv , Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Vatican, Moldova, Iran, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and other countries.
