Austria intends to abandon Russian gas/DR to Ukraine. In particular, Austria plans to abandon the gas of the aggressor country.

Austria intends to abandon Russian gas
Van der Bellen said that on April 26, during a conversation with Gevssler, he agreed that Austria's dependence on Russian natural gas imports should be quickly reduced. At the same time, the country should expand its use of renewable energy sources and accelerate efficiency measures.
The federal government is working on a plan to exit Russian gas. I applaud this because time is of the essence. Not only because of Russia's war of conquest against Ukraine, but also for climate protection reasons, said the Federal President.
Note that Federal Chancellor Karl Negammer previously stated that approximately 80% of the natural gas used in Austria for energy production – Russian. The government is taking steps to get rid of this addiction, but this is not a quick process.
