US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin will soon travel to Europe to attend meetings of NATO and G7 ministers.
This was announced by Sabrina Singh, Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of Defense.
What will be discussed at NATO and G7 meetings
— Secretary Austin will travel to Brussels from October 16-18 to attend a series of multilateral meetings, — noted the deputy speaker of the Pentagon.
Among them — meetings at the level of NATO defense ministers and countries that are part of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS.

Sabrina Singh said that in Brussels they will discuss strengthening NATO's collective defense positions, adapting the anti-ISIS coalition to possible threats and increasing military support for Ukraine.
Then the US Secretary of Defense will travel to Naples, Italy, for a meeting at the level of G7 defense ministers, which is scheduled for October 19.
The main issues that they plan to discuss concern the provision of further military assistance to Ukraine.
A meeting of the Contact Group on Ukrainian Defense Issues was recently scheduled to take place in Germany in the format Rammstein.
