Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley will arrive in Germany on Monday to hold the next meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format the next day, September 19.

According to her, this will be the 15th Ramstein meeting since the creation of the international group in April 2022.

— Austin and Milley will join defense secretaries and senior military leaders from nearly 50 countries to discuss the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and continued close coordination by the international community to provide the Ukrainian people with the tools they need to defend their sovereign territory,— she emphasized.
During the 14th meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format, which took place on July 18, the allies discussed the supply of air defense systems, ammunition and armor necessary for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
