Components for making explosive devices were found in the home and car of the man who shot US presidential candidate Donald Trump during a campaign rally.

What sources say about the assassination attempt on Trump
Two law enforcement interlocutors reported on condition of anonymity that during the investigation, components for making explosives were found in the car of 20-year-old Matthew Crooks, who attacked Donald Trump.

Such materials were also found in his house.
The interlocutors also told the AP that, according to current investigations, the firearm used by Crooks was purchased by his father approximately six months ago.
Investigators are still figuring out how Crooks got it and are gathering more information about the assailant.

The day before, on July 13, a shooting occurred during a Trump campaign rally.
Representatives of the Secret Service surrounded the ex-president and hastily led him outside the site. Blood was visible on his face.
After the wounded Donald Trump was treated in the hospital, the former US President flew to his golf club in New Jersey. The shooter was eliminated on the spot.
It is reported that another person who was present at the rally was killed during the assassination attempt on Trump. Two people were injured.
