Attempt on Irina Farion
On the evening of July 19, an attempt was made on Irina Farion. After the shot, the former MP is in hospital in serious condition.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky responded to the incident. Commenting on the attack on Farion, he stated that any violence deserves only condemnation.
In his opinion, everyone who is guilty of this event should bear full responsibility. As reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the attack on Farion is classified as attempted premeditated murder.
Strike on Nikolaev
As a result of the strike on Nikolaev in a residential area, it is already known that there are dead and wounded.
According to the latest data, three people died — man, woman and child. The boy's mother is in a state of shock.
In total, at least 15 residents of Nikolaev were injured, among them — four children, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.

Electricity situation
In some regions, violations of the process of fair distribution of electricity were recorded, the State Energy Supervision Inspectorate of Ukraine reported.
In particular, similar violations were identified in Vinnytsia, Dnepropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovograd and Odessa regions.
As noted by the State Inspectorate, in the listed areas the maximum possible even distribution of consumption reduction volumes among residents has not been ensured.

Closing of the funicular in Kyiv
In the period from July 22 to August 26, the funicular in Kyiv will be closed for annual scheduled repairs, the Kyiv City State Administration announced.
According to the plan, during this time the machine, compressor and thyristor rooms on the funicular will be repaired, the cable will be shortened, the contact network, sleepers will be inspected and partially replaced, as well as routine repairs of the cars will be carried out.

Shooting in Odessa
A conflict between passersby and police officers occurred near the Privoz food market in Odessa, as a result of which law enforcement officers fired a warning shot at air.
According to the National Police of Ukraine, law enforcement officers stopped a BMW, the driver of which showed signs of drug intoxication.
The man allegedly behaved aggressively, swore and resisted. People gathered near the official car and tried to help the offender escape.
As reported by the National Police, one of the women snatched the law enforcement officer’s weapon and tore his service uniform.
However, the patrolman responded by using a canister of irritant gas, returning the gun and using it to call for auxiliary forces.
Shot down of a Su-25 attack aircraft
In the Pokrovsky direction, Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners shot down a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft.
The plane tried to fire at the positions of units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the Khortytsia operational-strategic group of troops reported.
As noted in the OSGV, the enemy Su-25 attack aircraft was shot down by anti-aircraft gunners of the separate mechanized brigade named after Coroner General Mark Bezruchko.
