On the night of January 29th in an Iranian city where Shahed kamikaze drones are produced, among other things -136, there were pops. So far, four drones are known to have launched strikes from different directions.
Roman Yanushevsky, a journalist from the Israeli analytical portal Podrobnosti, spoke about thisChannel 24. According to him, judging by various reports, Israeli structures consider the operation quite successful.
However, it should not yet be argued that the Shahed-136 production plant was the target of drones. Now there are several assumptions, but it is worth waiting for more or less accurate information.
As Yanushevsky noted, the perpetrators of this operation clearly demonstrated that no matter how they are encrypted, Israeli intelligence knows the location of secret facilities in Iran where weapons are produced. Of course, if these strikes were carried out by Israeli intelligence,no one has officially reported this.
I assume that there could be cooperation between the Israeli and Ukrainian intelligence agencies, given the serious rapprochement between Russia and Iran. And Iran has been Israel's strategic adversary for at least the past two decades. I admit that we are indeed witnessing an unadvertised rapprochement between Israel and Ukraine in terms of intelligence and law enforcement agencies,” Yanushevsky believes.
Can Israel transfer weapons to Ukraine
< p>As Yanushevsky noted, there is a very subtle diplomatic game going on regarding the transfer of weapons from Israel. From the very beginning of the conflict, they have adhered to a certain “golden mean” – they do not give weapons, but they are preparing humanitarian aid. Also, no one advertises a lot of different things corny.
If we talk about politics at the diplomatic level, then the situation is very difficult for the Israeli leadership against the backdrop of countering Iran. Now, as we see, Russia is moving closer to Iran, which is increasingly moving it away from Israel. This is good for Ukraine and Ukrainian-Israeli relations, – said Yanushevsky.
In his opinion, at this stage, one should not expect the transfer of weapons from Israel. However, it is quite realistic that the country will continue to supply body armor and various other ammunition that helps on the battlefield.
Also, many different initiatives come from ordinary Israeli citizens. Both cynologists and local psychologists, doctors, volunteers, etc. go to Ukraine.
Explosions in Iran: briefly
- On the night of January 29 at various large industrial enterprises in Iran, working for the local Ministry of Defense, there were explosions. It is known that drones got there.
- The WSJ publication suggests that the Israeli special service Mossad could organize this attack. They allegedly pursued the goal of attacking a Ministry of Defense facility in Isfahan in central Iran.
- The Jerusalem Post noted that the drone attack on Iranian weapons depots was a phenomenal success. However, Iran claims that the attack was unsuccessful.
