On the night of November 8 (from 18:00 on November 7), Russian invaders launched an attack with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Rostov region, four Kh-59/69 guided air missiles from the airspace of the Belgorod region.

As well as 92 Shahed-type attack UAVs and unidentified drones from the directions of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Orel — RF, Chauda — Crimea.

In addition, the enemy's tactical aviation carried out attacks with guided aerial bombs on the Kharkiv and Sumy regions.

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the air attack.

As of 9 a.m. on November 8, the downing of four Kh-59/69 guided air missiles and 62 enemy UAVs has been confirmed in the Odessa, Nikolaev, Kiev, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Kirovograd, Zhitomir, Chernihiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Khmelnytsky and Ivano-Frankivsk regions regions.

At the same time, 26 enemy drones were locally lost in different regions of Ukraine. One — in Ukrainian airspace. Combat operations continue.

Unfortunately, as a result of the Russian Federation's night attack, there are casualties, homes and property of civilians in the Odessa, Kharkiv, Sumy and Khmelnytskyi regions have been damaged.
