It is unlikely that the Russian Federation will be able to restore the landing ship Minsk and the submarine Rostov-on-Don damaged during yesterday’s attack in the near future.

The head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Forces announced this on air at the telethon defense of southern Ukraine Natalya Gumenyuk.

— According to preliminary estimates of experts, from what we could already see, most likely, the large landing ship has become not so big anymore and is unlikely to be a ship. What concerns the submarine — the damage is quite significant and restoring it requires additional production capacity, in particular, which the same ship repair plant boasted, — she said.

According to Gumenyuk, this plant is now more like ashes, so “there is nowhere to restore the ships yet”.

Now they are watching

Night 13 September, after a series of explosions, a large-scale fire broke out at the Sevastopol Marine Plant in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Subsequently, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the damage to two of its ships.

According to Ukrainian intelligence, we are talking about a Russian large landing ship ship Minsk and submarine Rostov-on-Don.
