On the night of June 22 (from 21:00 on June 21), the Russian army attacked Ukraine with two ballistic missiles, a surface-to-air missile and 47 attack drones. Air defense neutralized 28 drones.

The Russians launched Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the territories of the Voronezh and Rostov regions. The S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile flew from the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region. The Russians launched 47 Shahed-type attack drones and drone imitators from the directions of Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

“The main direction of the attack is Chernihiv region!” the Air Force emphasized.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 09:00, the air defense neutralized 28 enemy Shahed UAVs (other types of drones) in the north, east and south of the country. 18 drones were shot down by fire weapons, 10 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare.

Enemy air strikes were recorded in seven locations, including in the Chernihiv, Sumy and Odessa regions.

At night, the Russian enemy attacked Belgorod-Dnistrovsky in the Odessa region with attack drones. Unfortunately, there is damage to civilian infrastructure there. According to the head of the Odessa OVA Oleg Kiper, the local emergency medical station was destroyed by explosions.

Fortunately, no one was hurt. Seven ambulances were disabled, six of them were wrecked, and one ambulance was completely burned.
