People go to Zaporozhye from various southern cities under the temporary occupation of the Russian Federation – Mariupol, Kherson, Berdyansk, Tokmak. The vast majority of car passengers are women, including pregnant women, children and the elderly and people with disabilities.
Many women are driving cars. The road is especially difficult for children – all the time – they are capricious. Some people have their own supplies of water and food, but due to the heat, the food has already begun to deteriorate, people say.

People have nowhere to go, they want to get to Zaporozhye. A bottle of water costs 75 hryvnia, one pie costs 35 hryvnia. Expensive, given that people have no money and nowhere to withdraw it. Some people have been on the road for 4-5 days already.

After 20:00 people try not to get out of the car because of the danger of shelling. According to people, this night “flyed” literally over their heads.
People say that they will continue to stand in line in front of the Russian checkpoint, they do not want to return under occupation.

This is not the first time the Russians have blocked the exit of people in the Vasilyevka area. Last month, the queue of cars reached more than a thousand, at the end of April 21, the movement of cars finally began there.
