The police previously established that the 66-year-old Renault driver was moving along Brovarsky Avenue from Brovary in the direction of Kyiv.
Upon entering the capital, a man hit a border service worker. The soldier was serving at a checkpoint and at the time of the accident was just crossing the roadway at an unregulated pedestrian crossing.
As a result of the accident, the woman was injured and was hospitalized.
The driver was tested using a Drager intoxication device. It turned out that the man was sober.
