ASBIS handed over 10 more ambulances to Ukraine
On Monday, May 23 , the international company ASBIS Enterprise donated 10 ambulances to those cities that need it more.
In particular, Kramatorsk (2 cars), Severodonetsk (2 cars), Dnipro (2 cars), Nikolaev (2 cars), Kharkiv and Zaporozhye received assistance. Ambulances are fully equipped with special medical equipment.
In addition, a significant amount of medicines has been added to each of the vehicles, which is necessary for the provision of emergency medical care on the ground. Now the injured and the injured can be quickly moved to hospitals or bomb shelters with minimal threat to their lives.
This project was implemented jointly with the Public Organization “Zeilen van Vrijheid”, which is headed by Veronika Mutsei and the Charitable Organization “Svoyi”, headed by Tatyana Yavorskaya.
Ukrainian cities in the East of Ukraine have been at the forefront since the first days of the war. Today, most of the cities in this region are on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe. From February 24 to this day, Kramatorsk, Kharkov, Severodonetsk, Dnieper, Zaporozhye, Nikolaev are under constant shelling and bombardment. Many of these cities have completely destroyed critical infrastructure facilities, which makes it impossible to provide emergency qualified medical care to the wounded and injured. Thanks to the transfer of ambulances equipped with special medical equipment and medicines, doctors will be able to save more lives.
The international company ASBIS Enterprise, which is represented in Ukraine by ASBIS-Ukraine, Breezy Ukraine, iOn and iSupport, closely monitors the situation and initiates the allocation of support where it is most needed. In April 2022, the company handed over 10 ambulances that have been saving lives in Chernigov, Kharkiv, Donbass and Nikolaev for more than a month.
We continue to help Ukraine in this difficult time. Our next step, which will bring us closer to victory, is the delivery of 10 ambulances to the cities that require it the most. Today, our activities are aimed at reducing humanitarian risks. It is a great honor for us to transfer to the cities of the Eastern Region cars equipped with special medical equipment that will help save more lives. The public organization was established in the Netherlands in early March 2022 to avoid a humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine. The main activity is the selection and delivery of ambulances, completing them with special medical equipment and medicines. The organization has attracted more than 100 volunteers from around the world. At the moment, the organization has transferred to Ukraine more than 70 ambulances, more than 140 tons of medicines, which were delivered to the cities that suffered the most during the hostilities. The Foundation implements its projects thanks to the financial support of business representatives, non-commercial partnerships and donations.
