During a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, US President Donald Trump assured him of Washington's continued support.
The Wall Street Journal reports this.
Trump on aid to Ukraine
Trump told Zelensky that he had ordered a review of the Pentagon's munitions stockpile after the U.S. attacked Iranian nuclear facilities last month, according to people familiar with the conversation.

At the same time, the American president emphasized that he did not order the Ministry of Defense to freeze arms supplies to Ukraine.
“Trump assured Zelensky that the US would provide as much military aid as it could,” sources told the publication.
Despite this, actual deliveries of American weapons remain suspended.
The US administration is conducting a review of military stockpiles, which is delaying the resumption of arms deliveries to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Earlier, the White House explained the reasons for suspending arms supplies to Ukraine.
Speaker Caroline Levitt said during a briefing in Washington that the decision was made only in consultation with the US Secretary of Defense.
Neither President Trump nor the Pentagon took it on their own.
She noted that this is a standard procedure by which the US Department of Defense reviews all foreign military aid.
Let us recall that on the morning of July 8, Kyiv time, a message appeared on the Pentagon website that, on the orders of Donald Trump, the US would send additional weapons to Ukraine.
