More than 40 people went missing after the missile attack on Kremenchug
Law enforcement authorities began pre-trial investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder. According to the investigation, on June 27, the Russian armed forces launched a missile attack on Kremenchuk, as a result of which the shopping center was destroyed.
Currently, rescuers continue to dismantle the wreckage of the building. Their work is complicated by a large-scale fire, which they are still trying to put out.
As of 0:20 on June 28, 13 dead are known, whose bodies have been removed from the rubble. 59 civilians applied for medical assistance. Almost half of them are in critical condition. One person died in hospital from injuries.
Currently, more than 40 applications have already been received from citizens about the disappearance of their relatives, the Office of the Prosecutor General said.
The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by employees of the SBU Department in the Poltava region.

Briefly about the missile attack on Kremenchuk
- President Volodymyr Zelensky published a video of the consequences of the horrific strike of the occupiers on Kremenchuk. He noted that at the time of the missile attack, there were approximately a thousand civilians in the shopping center.

- The press service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that Russia had hit Kremenchug with Kh-22 supersonic cruise missiles. They were fired from Tu-22 M3 long-range bombers. Enemy aircraft took off from the Shaikovka airfield, and the launches were carried out from the Kursk region.
- NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov noted that the Russians fired 2 missiles. One of them hit the mall, and the other one hit the city stadium.
