As of 2 p.m., it is known that two people in the Odessa region have moderate injuries. Natalya Gumenyuk, Speaker of the Operational Command “South”, told Channel 24 about the consequences of the morning shelling of the Odessa region.
According to her, the injuries and injuries of the citizens are not serious. They have already received first aid, they refused hospitalization.
The day before, the speaker of the Odesa OVA, Sergei Bratchuk, reported that, fortunately, there were no casualties as a result of the shelling. Then it was known that one person was injured.
At the same time, as Gumenyuk noted, the destruction in the Odessa and Nikolaev regions, where enemy missiles also hit, is significant. However, the danger has already been eliminated and the fire extinguished. So far, there is no information about the victims in Nikolaev.
The Russians shelled the Odessa region: what is known
- On the morning of July 26, after an air raid was announced almost throughout Ukraine, Odessans began to report a powerful explosion in city.
- The enemy attacked the Odessa region from strategic aircraft from the Black Sea.
- Thus, the Russians launched several air-launched missiles in the Odessa region. Enemy shells hit the private buildings of coastal villages, causing them to catch fire.
- President Volodymyr Zelensky published a video of the consequences of the morning shelling of the Odessa region. According to him, Russian terrorists will be responsible for every shelling.
Nikopol and Nikopol fell under enemy attack
- Almost immediately with the Odessa region, the enemy fired missiles in the Nikolaev region. So he massively attacked the South. In the Nikolaev region, he hit the port infrastructure. And from the temporarily occupied Kherson region, they hit the S-300 air defense system. Other open areas in the suburbs of Nikolaev also fell into the car market.
- Also on the night of July 26, the Nikopol region again fell under Russian missile attack. There were no casualties from the shelling. At the same time, after a few minutes of the declared alarm, the inhabitants of the Nikopol district heard explosions.
