In in the Russian city of Bryansk on the evening of October 12, an explosion occurred.
This was first reported by local Telegram channels, and subsequently commented on by the regional governor Alexander Bogomaz and the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Residents of the city reported that after explosion, a fire started in the area of the local meat processing plant.

Later Governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz spoke. According to his version, Bryansk was allegedly attacked by a drone, but, says a Russian official, the activity of a UAV of unknown origin was allegedly suppressed in the vicinity of Bryansk by electronic warfare forces (EW).
According to preliminary information, when this drone fell, there were like would not. Operational and emergency services arrived at the scene, the governor added.
Subsequently, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that two drones had been shot down by air defense forces — over the territories of the Bryansk and Belgorod regions.
