Mikhail Fedorov said that at the front every minute there should be 200 UAVs flying to the second and third lines of defense from 220 kilometers. The first line constantly requires up to ten thousand UAVs flying 3-5 kilometers.
At the same time, schools that train drone pilots, as well as workshops where drones will be “treated”, have already started operating.

Mikhail Fedorov also announced that grants would be issued for Ukrainian companies and startups producing drones.

The Army of Drones project was introduced jointly by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and UNITED24. Its goal is to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine monitor the front line, which is about 2,470 kilometers, and effectively repel enemy attacks.
The United24 initiative now has 72 million dollars on its balance sheet. These funds are distributed in three areas: demining and defense; medical care and restoration of Ukraine. The program also provides for the systematic purchase of drones, their repair and prompt replacement, as well as a pilot training course.
As part of the Army of Drones project, our state has already received the first drone from the United States. We bought it for charitable contributions from Ukrainians.
