In recent weeks, there has been a shortage of fuel at gas stations. However, according to experts, it is definitely enough for two important categories – the army and the business supplying goods.

This was announced by the director of the A-95 Consulting Group Sergey Kuyun 24 channels.

The army will have enough fuel

According to him, the army and business will have enough fuel.

The military has its own resources. But, in addition, the army centrally buys part of the fuel at all gas stations in Ukraine. Therefore, there will always be fuel for this category, – Sergey Kuyun said.

He said that as soon as the remaining fuel reaches a certain level, free sale at gas stations is suspended. And then the fuel is issued only to corporate clients and critical consumers.

Businesses buy fuel separately

Business is also a separate category of consumers. Kuyun stressed that such companies buy fuel on a non-cash account, they have contracts with networks (gas stations – channel 24), where everything is reserved for them.

“That is, the corporate segment will also provided and not for combustible problems. Although there will now be limits for them – for example, 100 liters per day per car. But this is enough,” the expert assured.

Sergey Kuyun added that During the war, Russia destroyed about 20 Ukrainian oil depots, as well as the Kremenchug oil refinery. “This destabilized the situation, so now such bases are almost never used,” he said.

What is the situation with fuel and will prices go up

By the way, fuel, especially gasoline, is getting scarcer. Some gas station chains have increased fuel prices, ignoring government limits. Many gas stations have already introduced limits of up to 10 liters per tank.

Therefore, the government is preparing to raise fuel prices with tax refunds. In particular, the Rada registered a bill returning the excise tax on fuel and VAT at a rate of 20% (now 7%).

Sergey Kuyun says that this could raise prices by 10-12 hryvnia per liter. In this case, gasoline will cost 45 hryvnia per liter (now 34.10 hryvnia), and diesel fuel – 48 hryvnia per liter (38.70 hryvnia now). What is the current situation with fuel – read the article.
