Political scientist Igor Chalenko told about this on the air of Channel 24 . He noted that the morale of the Russians is now worse than when they had to withdraw from the Kyiv, Chernigov and Sumy regions with the help of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The political scientist noted that the Kremlin today is begging for a truce, because they do not have large reserves to go on the offensive. They need time to rearm and prepare. In addition, Russia has big problems with payments to many military personnel.
The expert noted that the increasing motivation of Ukrainians and the supply of weapons by the West also affect.
Successes in the Kharkiv region
“We announced earlier a counter-offensive in the South and the Russians obviously thought that if they shelled Kharkiv every day, then there would be absolutely nothing in the Kharkiv region,” Chalenko said.As always, the APU has shown that they are smarter. They are unpredictable. This is what frightens our enemy most of all, that our every step is atypical for them,” Igor Chalenko said.
He added that the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine go beyond the classical Soviet military school, so we will continue to see even more sadness in relation to the Russian troops.
At the same time, the expert emphasized the need to remain realistic, because Russia still has resources.
