As of February 28, Russia is trying to advance in the Kupyansky, Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Shakhtyorsky directions. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are inflicting powerful blows on the occupiers, and they suffer insane losses.
Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled more than 60 attacks by the invaders. At the same time, the enemy launched 8 missile and 32 air strikes.
What is the current situation at the front
- On the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky directions, the formation of enemy offensive groupings was not detected. The occupiers fired on the settlements of Timonovichi and Berilovka in the Chernihiv region; Starikovoe, Bruski, Byvalino, Kruzhok, Manukhovka, Atinskoye, Porozok of the Sumy region and Krasnaya Zarya, Veterinary, Arrow, Gatishche, Volchansk and Volchansk Farms of the Kharkiv region.
- In the Kupyansky and Limansky directions, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of the settlements of Makeevka, Ploshchadka, Kremennaya, Dibrova and Belogorovka of the Luhansk region. He carried out artillery attacks on the areas of settlements Dvurechnaya, Liman Pervyy, Gryanikovka, Kurilovka, Kislovka and Tabaevka of the Kharkiv region; Novoselovskoe, Nevskoe, Krasnopopovka and Dibrova – Luhansk and Disputed and Razdolevka of Donetsk region.
- In the Bakhmut direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vasyukovka, Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Berkhovka, Yagodnoe and Bakhmut of the Donetsk region. Enemy shelling was carried out on Zheleznyansky, Dubovo-Vasilevka, Berkhovka, Bakhmut, Ivanovsky, Stupochki, Konstantinovka, Kleschievka, Zhelezny, Ozaryanovka, Majorsk, Yuzhny and New York.
- On the Avdeevka and Shakhtyorsk directions, the enemy continues to attack the positions of our troops, made several unsuccessful attacks in the direction of Kamenka, Krasnogorovka and Maryinka, Donetsk region. He carried out artillery and mortar attacks on the areas of the settlements of Avdeevka, Lastochkino, Netaylovo, Vodyanoye, Pervomayskoye, Krasnogorovka, Nevelskoye, Maryinka, Bogoyavlenka, Novomikhailovka, Bolshaya Novoselka, Neskuchnoye and Vugledar.
- In the Zaporozhye direction, more than 20 settlements suffered fire damage. Among them are Vremivka and Novopol, Donetsk region; Kamyshevakha, Olgovskoe, Malinovka, Gulyaipole, Zheleznodorozhnoe, Volshebnoe, Orekhov and Novoandreevka of the Zaporozhye region.
- In the Kherson direction , 25 settlements of the Kherson region, in particular, Gavrilovka, Kachkarovka, Veseleye, Tyaginko, Inzhenernoye, Antonovka, Beregovo and Kherson, suffered from artillery fire from the Russian occupation forces.
The occupiers restrict the movement of civilian Ukrainians
On the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, the enemy restricts the movement of the civilian population. In particular, entry into the village of Promin is allowed only to citizens with local registration and with a special pass.
APU powerfully destroy the enemy
Over the past 24 hours, our defenders have destroyed 11 Shahid-136 and 1 Zal-type Iranian strike UAVs.
Also, our aircraft delivered 4 strikes on the areas where the occupiers were concentrated. And the rocket and artillery units hit one command post, two enemy manpower concentration areas, and two air defense positions.
Recall that our defenders and defenders have already eliminated 148,690 invaders. Losses in technology:
- tanks – 3385 (+4) units;
- armored combat vehicles – 6621 (+6) units;
- artillery systems – 2,380 units;
- MLRS – 475 units;
- air defense systems – 247 units;
- aircraft – 300 (+1) units;
- helicopters – 288 units;
- cruise missiles – 873 units;

- ships / boats – 18 units;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 5248 (+6) units;
