Russian invaders are trying to hold on to temporarily occupied territories. However, our Armed Forces inflict heavy losses on the invaders.
The enemy continues to conduct offensive operations in the Bakhmut and Avdeevsky directions. This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
How our military destroy the occupiers
Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks in areas of settlements < strong>Ozaryanovka, Kamenka, Pervomayskoye and Nevelskoye.
Our aviation has dealt 24 strikes over the past day.The defeat of 20 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as 4 anti-aircraft missile systems of the enemy was confirmed. In addition, over the previous day, Ukrainian air defense units shot down 1 Su-25 enemy aircraft, 3 UAVs and 3 X-59 guided missiles.
The enemy is shelling our positions
Invaders strike critical infrastructure and residential areas of Ukraine. So, over the past day, the invaders launched 10 missile and 19 air strikes, carried out more than 90 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
As a result, the infrastructure and civilians of more than 30 settlements suffered. Among them are Zaporozhye, Slavyansk, Novobakhmutovka, Seversk, Belogorovka, Nikopol and Blagodativka.
The enemy used 7 anti-aircraft guided missiles to attack Zaporozhye. Once again, the critical infrastructure of the city and the housing of peaceful civilians suffered. .
In other directions, the enemy carried out shelling:
- in the Seversky direction – from mortars and cannon artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Popovka, Starikove, Vorozhba, Yanzhulovka and Miropolye;
- in the Slobozhansky direction – from mortars, cannon and rocket artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Krasnaya Zarya, Veterinary, Strelka, Malye Prokhody, Volchansk, Kamenka, Dvurechnaya and Grinkovka;
- on the Kramatorsk direction– from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery along the entire line of collision, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Pervomayskoye, Seversk, Makeevka, Novoegorovka, Stelmakhovka, Terny, Torskoye and Zarechnoye. Also, in the area of the settlement of Svatovo, the enemy blew up the railway and automobile bridge crossings;
- in the Bakhmut direction– from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery along the entire line of collision, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Razdolovka, Serebryanka, Belogorovka, Verkhnekamennoye, Zaitsevo, Krasnaya Gora, Soledar. In addition, the invaders mined the area in the Berestovoe area;
- in the Avdeevka direction – from tanks, mortars, cannon and rocket artillery fired at the areas of the settlements of Avdiivka, Kamenka, Vodyanoe, Pervomayskoye, Peski , Krasnogorovka and Marinka.
- On the Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye directionsmore than 20 settlements suffered fire damage. In particular, Vuhledar, Novopol, Shakhtyorskoe, Maly Shcherbaki, Bolshaya Novoselka, Malinovka and Malaya Tokmachka.
- In the South Buzh direction enemy shelling was recorded in areas of more than 25 settlements along the entire line of collision . Not far from Dudchan, the enemy deployed a strike UAV. In total, the occupiers made up to 30 UAV sorties in the direction for the purpose of conducting aerial reconnaissance.
The occupiers suffer huge losses in the war in Ukraine
- Over the past 24 hours, 44 invaders, 2 Grad multiple rocket launchers, 4 tanks, 10 armored vehicles and 4 120-caliber mortars were destroyed in the South.
- On October 8, the Russian invaders lost 2 UAVs only in Odessa region.
- Also, in the area of the village of Krasnoye in the Berislavsky district, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to destroy the enemy drone “Orlan-10”.
