The occupiers do not give up hope of completely capturing the Donetsk region and recapturing the territories from which they were driven out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To this end, the Russian military shelled peaceful Ukrainian cities and the positions of our defenders.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russians are trying to hold on to the previously captured territories and prevent the active actions of the Defense Forces in certain areas. The enemy fires at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the line of collision and does not stop striking at civilians.
The enemy launched 11 air strikes
As the General Staff said, for 24 hours, the Russian invaders launched 3 missile and 11 air strikes, carried out more than 40 attacks from the MLRS on objects on the territory of Ukraine. It is reported that the infrastructure was damaged in more than 20 settlements.
The enemy fired from tanks, mortars and artillery:
in the Seversky direction– in the areas of the settlements of Guta-Studenetska of the Chernihiv region and Rozhkovichi, Sosnovka and Ekaterinovka of the Sumy regions; High Yaruga, Volchansk, Gatishche, Budarki, Kupyansk and Nikolaevka;
on the Kramatorsk direction – Krivaya Luka, Piskunovka, Raygorodok, Belogorovka, Ozernoe, Grigorovka;
on the Bakhmut direction– Nikolaevka, Seversk, Razdolevka, Soledar, Bakhmutskoye, Bakhmut, New York, Yakovlevka, Zaitsevo and Mayorsk; , Karlovka and Vodyanoye;
on the Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye directions about 25 settlements were subjected to shelling. In particular, Vgledar, Prechistovka, Bolshaya Novoselka, Nikolskoye, Kamenskoye, Zheleznodorozhnoye and Novopavlovka;
on the South Buzh directionthe enemy inflicted a fiery defeat along the entire line of collision. More than 30 settlements were shelled. Among them are Ukrainka, Mirnoye, Aprelskoye, Novorossiyskoye, Kobzartsy and Olgino.
The defense forces repulsed several attacks by the invaders
The General Staff reported that During the day, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kupyansk, Hoptovka, Nikolaevka Vtoraya, Vesela Dolina, Odradovka, Maryinka, Novomikhailovka and Pravdino.
Ukrainian aviation also delivered 20 strikes, as a result of which 15 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and strongholds and 4 positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. In addition, an infidel drone was destroyed.
It is reported that rocket troops and artillery hit more than 20 enemy targets. In particular, at 7 control points and 9 strongholds and areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment.
Air defense facilities and pontoon crossings of Russian infidels fell into the affected area.
