The Ukrainian army continues to resolutely resist the enemy. Despite the cunning of the enemy and constant rocket attacks, we are daily bringing our victory closer.
The current situation on different fronts was reported to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the morning of October 12.
The enemy is trying with all his might to hold the temporarily occupied territories, and is also concentrating his efforts on trying to stop the counter-offensive actions of the defense forces in certain areas.
Rocket attacks on Ukraine do not subside
The enemy continues shelling the positions of our troops along the line of contact, carries out remote mining of the territory in certain areas and conducts aerial reconnaissance. It strikes at civilian infrastructure and civilian dwellings, violating the norms of International Humanitarian Law, the laws and customs of warfare.
Thus, over the past day, infidels launched one ballistic and 28 cruise missiles , 20 of which were shot down by Ukrainian air defense units. In addition, the enemy launched 13 air strikes and made more than forty attacks from multiple launch rocket systems. As a result, objects and the civilian population of more than 40 settlements were damaged. Among them:
- Lviv,
- Popovka,
- Chugunovka,
- Ladyzhyn,
- Krivoy Rog,
- Zaporozhye,
- Pavlograd,
- Nikopol.
The enemy also used 14 Iranian kamikaze drones to strike critical infrastructure in the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions, twelve of these UAVs were destroyed. The threat of air and missile strikes throughout Ukraine remains.
What is the situation in the northern regions
In the Volyn and Polesye directions, the situation has not changed significantly. The enemy fired from mortars, tanks, cannon and rocket artillery in the areas of settlements:
- in the Seversky direction – Senkovka, Chernihiv region and Seredina-Buda, Novovasilovka and Sorokino, Sumy region;
< li>on the Slobozhansky direction – Strelka, Krasnoe, Ogurtsovo, Volchanskie Khutor, Staritsa, Dvuhletnaya and Dvuhletnaya.
What is happening in the Donbass
It was also restless in the East of our country, in particular:
- in the Kramatorsk direction – Pervomayskoye, Kovalevka, Terny, Yampolevka, Torskoye, Serebryanka, Belogorovka and Seversk;
- on Bakhmutsky in the direction – Belogorovka, Soledar, Bakhmutskoye, Bakhmut, Klishchievka, Odradovka, Poprosnoe, Mayorsk Disputed and Yakovlevka;
As a result of the successful actions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and due to the abundance of the wounded, there is a shortage of medical workers in the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region. To replenish the staff of hospitals, the self-proclaimed leadership of the region sent a petition asking for a business trip of medical staff from the central and eastern regions of Russia.
What is the situation in the South
In the Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye directions, shelling was recorded in the settlements: Bolshaya Novoselka, Neskuchnoe, Maly Shcherbaki, Orekhov and Krasnoye.
In the Yuzhnobuzhsky direction, the enemy continues shelling the positions of our units to deter the counteroffensive along the entire line of confrontation. More than 20 settlements experienced the fiery influence. In particular, Velikoye Artakovo, Davidov Brid, Blagodativka, Dry Pond, Shirokoye, Ternovye Pody, Soldatskoye, Pravdino and Mirnoye.
Achievement of our Armed Forces
< p>Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of infidels in the areas of the settlements of Nikolaevka, Soledar, Bakhmutskoye, Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Pervomayskoye and Krasnogorovka. Ukrainian aviation delivered 15 strikes during the day. Confirmed defeat of:
- 13 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment,
- as well as two enemy air defense systems.
Missile Forces and artillery over the past day hit 12 command posts, 17 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 4 ammunition, as well as more than 20 other important enemy targets.
