The Armed Forces of Ukraine have been preventing the enemy from advancing on our territory for 72 days. As of May 6, the map of hostilities has not changed much.
The Russian army continues to try to capture the South and East of Ukraine. Therefore, the hottest spots are concentrated in these areas.
Events at the front
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that the Russian invaders continue to conduct a full-scale armed aggression against our state. The offensive of the enemy in the East of Ukraine does not stop. As you know, Russian infidels intend to establish full control over the Lugansk and Donetsk regions.
But our military give a worthy rebuff to the enemy in these positions and all the rest, and reliably hold the defense. Over the past day, 11 attacks were repulsed in the Donetsk and Luhansk directions. They also managed to destroy 8 tanks, 11 units of armored combat vehicles and 5 vehicles of the enemy.
In order to find out the positions of our troops and understand where they can move further, the Russians insidiously carry out aerial reconnaissance.

According to the General Staff, active hostilities in this direction continue. The enemy is shelling the positions of our troops near Liman.
In the direction of Popasnaya, the Russian invaders are making every effort to seize control of this settlement. They also want to resume the attack on Liman and Seversk.
In the encircled Mariupol, the Russians continue to cunningly block the units of the Defense Forces in the Azovstal area. They want to take control of the plant where our people and civilians are located. Therefore, they resumed the assault with aviation.
At the same time, there were no active hostilities on the Severodonetsk, Avdievsky, Kurakhovsky, Novopavlovsky and Zaporozhye directions of active hostilities. But the Russians want to pin down our troops and destroy artillery units, so they create fire influence.
What is happening in other directions
We should not forget about the danger from Belarus. There is a check of the combat readiness of the reaction forces. At the same time, the enemy did not conduct active operations in the nearby Volyn and Polessky directions.
In the Seversk direction, the Russian invaders also did not show any signs that they were preparing for an offensive. They keep a small number of personnel, weapons and equipment near the borders with Ukraine.
Also, the enemy did not conduct active operations in the Sloboda region. But rocket and cannon artillery shelling of residential areas and the suburbs of Kharkov continues.
