What is happening in the South of Ukraine
So, over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to complete 300 fire missions in the South, and that's not all, because there are considerable losses of the Russians. This was reported by the Operational Command “South” in its traditional report.
Thus, the situation in the operational zone in the South Buk direction is steadily tense. While positional battles continue, the Defense Forces continue to improve their tactical position and gain a foothold in the liberated territories.
In some directions, the enemy, with the support of two BMD-2s and a T-72 tank, tried to improve his position by conducting assault operations. In particular, such actions were carried out in the direction from Arkhangelsk to Ivanovka. At the same time, he unsuccessfully retreated with losses.
During the day, the enemy continued rocket-artillery, tank and mortar shelling of Ukrainian positions and settlements along the line of collision. He also attacked both the forward and rear areas with aircraft. September 14 attacked Krivoy Rog with aeroballistic missiles of the “Dagger” and “Iskander” type.
In addition, 15 warships continue to maneuver in the Black Sea, including 2 missile carriers, surface and underwater, with a total of 12 missiles. All of them are in full readiness for use on the territory of Ukraine. It is also reported that 5 large landing ships were expelled from the sea.
Successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the South
At the same time, our aircraft dealt 13 strikes on enemy, in the area of Chkalovy, a supersonic enemy Su-24M bomber was destroyed. Rocket and artillery units completed 285 fire missions.
The department noted that the Kakhovka bridge and the crossing in Daryevka were under tight fire control. The invaders had no way to use them.
