The Armed Forces of Ukraine near Kherson are doing the same as in the North/Channel 24 Collage
Russian troops will sooner or later run away from Kherson. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will repeat in the South the scenario that expelled the occupiers from the North of Ukraine.

About this Channel 24said political strategist Mikhail Sheitelman. He is confident that Russian troops will flee from Kherson just as they fled from the Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
The political strategist noted that the main goal of the invaders was the capture of Kyiv. Not Kherson, not Donbass, but the capital of Ukraine. They could not take it, but they ran away not because they decided to use a different tactic, but because the Russians could not fight further.
“It was a clear military victory for the Ukrainian army,” Sheitelman emphasized.

In his opinion, later the successes of our troops decreased, because in the North of Ukraine we used almost all of our shells, the Russians shot down many Ukrainian drones and aviation. Therefore, at one point, the Ukrainians were left unarmed. After all, the entire technological resource was thrown into the operation to liberate the Kyiv region.

Sheitelman noted that he sees Ukrainian troops in the South repeating what they did in the North of Ukraine.
Our troops are doing the same with Kherson that they did near Kyiv. The same thing that was later done near Sumy. And the same thing that our troops did with the Snake Island, – the political consultant emphasized.
According to him, these are actions that are simple in logic, but complex in execution. Among them – the destruction of warehouses, the destruction of the fuel supply to the occupiers, the destruction of their logistics as a whole. And judging by all the reports, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are doing it quite successfully, and the Russians do not have the tools to resist such actions.
Russians are playing for time
Sheitelman stressed that the Russians are playing for time, because they have to figure out how to cover up their retreat from Kherson in front of the Russian population. That is, they are trying to come up with new propaganda.
It is difficult to say again that this is a humane action, de-escalation. But, for example, it is possible to think that Kherson was demilitarized as part of the demilitarization of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. For who in Russia knows exactly where the ZNPP is located, – the political strategist noted.
The liberation of Kherson will not mean a total victory
Sheitelman stressed that successes in the South will not mean a total victory. Such tactics will bring success on the right bank of the Dnieper, in a rather small area.
“On the rest of the territory, there may be a completely different war and a hundred times more difficult,” the political strategist added.

Recent events on the southern front: briefly
- the invaders lost the last way to overturn the equipment. The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the logistics of the Russians at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, hitting a road bridge.
- Near Nova Kakhovka, Ukrainian aircraft attacked a cluster of Russian troops. Probably, it was possible to liquidate several commanders of infidels, who often drank in this territory.
- In the Kherson region, the power lines leading from the ZNPP to the occupied Crimea fell. How this happened is still unknown.
