Although the invaders are not preparing offensive actions near Kherson, they do not stop their sabotage activities there either – reconnaissance groups. This is especially active between the islands.
Yevgeny Yerin, head of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the Tauride direction, told about this on the air of the telethon, Channel 24 reports.
He said that the enemy is constantly launching subversive -recon teams.
But our defenders are keeping a close eye on this direction. Over the past day, at least 5 light motor boats with groups of infidels were destroyed, – Yerin noted.
Also, the head of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of the Taurida direction noted that on January 30, the Russian army fired on Kherson from Gradov and 120-mm mortars. The purpose of the invaders is to intimidate the local population and spread panic.
Kherson is under regular enemy shelling
Russian invaders do not stop shelling Kherson. The city is regularly under enemy shelling.
- On January 19, the city center was again under attack by invaders. They fired at residential buildings.
- And during January 20, Russian militants carried out 36 attacks on the territory of the Kherson region. Kherson itself was shelled by Russian invaders 11 times.
- On January 21, patients from Kherson were brought to the Lvov region. This is a mass medical evacuation since the beginning of the war. To pick up all the people, 26 ambulances were attracted.
- On January 29, the city was under a massive attack by the enemy. The enemy drove through the residential areas of the city. The Ministry of Health reported that the enemy shelled the regional clinical hospital of Kherson.
