For several weeks, reports have been heard in the information space about the successes of the Ukrainian military in the Luhansk direction. The head of the OVA spoke about the situation on the Svatovo-Kremennaya highway and whether the Ukrainian military managed to take it under control.
Even during the winter holidays, fierce battles in the Lugansk region and other sectors of the front do not subside, but our soldiers manage to advance and repulse the invaders. In particular, the head of the OVA, Sergei Gaidai, stated on the air of the national telethon that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had taken a very important route under fire control.
Fire control does not mean “physical”
Note that the Ukrainian military does not yet physically control the Svatovo-Kreminnaya highway. However, they do everything to prevent the enemy from moving along this road, attacking it daily.
There (along the highway – Channel 24) it is already quite dangerous to drive from Svatovoe to Kremennaya, so they (Russians – Channel 24) are looking for new logistics solutions, passing, for example, through Starobelsk, – said Gaidai.
Actually, due to the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the occupiers have to make a considerable circle each time in order to deliver ammunition to the right places. The head of the region noted that near Luhansk there are queues of trucks for more than 10 kilometers. These vehicles are reloading shells into KamAZ trucks, and they are already delivering weapons to the enemy military.
From these reports by Gaidai, we can conclude that it is not easy for the invaders to defend themselves in the Luhansk direction now. Obviously, sooner or later, they will have to make a “goodwill gesture”, although it is too early to state anything now.
Note! Logistical problems arise for the enemy also due to the fact that “cotton” often visits enemy warehouses. Recall that not so long ago, the Ukrainian army managed to liquidate a warehouse with enemy ammunition near Svatovoe.
In this regard, we note that the military observer Musienko is sure that Russia will do everything to control the territory of the Luhansk region.
Now the occupiers are pulling up resources to Svatovoe and Kremennaya, including mobilized soldiers, so as not to “surrender” the region. However, it is clear that this will not help them.
