Nobody doubted the results of the pseudo-referendum. In the Lugansk region, about 98% of the people allegedly wanted to join Russia.
The occupiers said that more than 1.6 million people took part in the so-called expression of will. According to the results of the “referendum” in the fantasies of Russians, 98% of them voted “for” joining the occupying country.
So many people do not live in the region
Such results were announced after a five-day “will of the people”. But there is a nuance: the number of those who voted was greater than those who live in the occupied territories of the region.
Where do these numbers come from, dreamers? Even rough estimates will be far from this huge figure,” said Sergei Gaidai.
At the same time, during the pseudo-referendum, everything that is possible was violated:
- non-observance of the secrecy of the “expression of will”;
- “commissions” with military men with machine guns in hands;
- “voting” in apartments and bushes;
- intimidation of dissenters;
- multiple “voting”;
- “voting” even without documents;
- threats of mobilization for not voting.
However, no matter how the invaders fantasize, this game of “referenda” will not change anything, because Ukraine will de-occupy all its territories.
The first results of the pseudo-referendum
< p>September 27 was the last day of staging the expression of will in the occupied territories of Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. As expected, almost in all territories where the infrastructure was completely destroyed in places, where the invaders tortured people, where there is an active partisan movement, Ukrainians allegedly “voted” for joining this “beautiful” country.
Thus, in all the occupied territories, the Russian occupiers claim that “support” for joining the occupying country gained more than 97% of the votes:
- in the occupied territories of Donbass: for “joining Russia” – 98 .05% of the votes (according to the processing of 16.06% of the protocols);
- in the Luhansk region: in favor – 97.93% of the votes (according to the processing of 51.76% of the protocols);
- in Zaporozhye: in favor – 98% of the votes (according to the processing of 20% of the protocols);
- in the Kherson region: in favor – 96.75% of the vote (according to the processing of 100% of the protocols).
It is clear that the data published by Russian propagandists have nothing to do with reality. Moreover, no civilized country recognizes these results.
The world reacted to the “referendum”
- Great Britain was the first to react to the pseudo-referendum. They announced new sanctions for such a blatant violation of international law.
- The EU promised sanctions against the organizers of quasi-referendums. Canada, the Baltic countries, the NATO Secretary General and others also reacted.
- The United States announced that they would impose new sanctions against Russia in response to the so-called “referendums” in the occupied territories.
- Own New Zealand also extended sanctions in response to such “referendums”. The new sanctions list includes 19 people, including Russian ministers, members of the Russian Security Council, relatives of Vladimir Putin and the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.
