Despite the fact that the war continues, Ukraine is already establishing the names of the Russian occupiers involved in the atrocities in Bucha. The first ten of them are already known.
Fighters from the 64th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Russian army were involved in the hijacking and torture of civilians in Bucha. After all these inhuman acts that they committed there, the Russian authorities decided to “mark” them – the brigade was given the honorary title of “Guards”, but the invaders themselves were transported almost without rest immediately to “hot spots” to the front. Experts explain this by the fact that in this way they are trying to “utilize” unnecessary witnesses of the atrocities committed by the Russians in the occupied cities.
But this does not mean that the names of those involved in the crimes should not be established. The prosecutor's office exposed 10 Russian servicemen involved in the torture of peaceful Ukrainians. They are now officially suspected of mistreating civilians and other violations of the laws and customs of war.

So far, Ukrainian law enforcement officers have evidence that these persons are involved in the abduction and torture of civilians, as well as looting. Now they are also being checked for involvement in the killing of civilians in the occupied cities.

Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President Alexei Arestovich noted that they look like ordinary people. But therein lies the danger.
Only on the face of some of them you will find (with careful consideration and the availability of skills) a tendency to deviant behavior and traces of strong psychotrauma that can be discharged like a spring, in appropriate circumstances. Others are “ordinary guys”, and “he was such a sweet boy, all over his mother,” Arestovich wrote.
He emphasized that murderers and rapists do not stand out from the general crowd.
“After the murder and violence, the villain does not rummage around with bloodied hands and bulging eyes. He goes to eat pasta, flip through Bulgakov's volume and talk nicely with you about the weather – until the next murder, as in one of the basements of Bucha. Everything is terrible in this is the whole horror,” said Arestovich.
Arestovich also cited statistics that about 80% of the victims of the attacks were familiar with the killers and rapists. Therefore, it recommends that those who find themselves in the occupied territory not come into contact with Russian soldiers, so as not to increase the risk of being kidnapped, raped or killed.
