Ukraine will receive portable anti-drone systems
How to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said recently that the allies will continue to provide significant military and financial assistance to Ukraine. In particular, NATO will provide:
- means of secure communications,
- fuel,
- medical supplies and protective vests,
- equipment against mines, chemical and biological threats,
- and hundreds of portable anti-drone systems.
In the long term, we will help Ukraine move from Soviet-era equipment to modern NATO equipment, improve interoperability and strengthen its defense and security institutions, Stoltenberg stressed.
In Madrid, NATO leaders also agreed to strengthen our defense and deterrence to respond to new security realities.
“We will also strengthen our ability to provide reinforcements, including by increasing the number of forward deployment equipment and military supplies. We will increase the ability to deploy frontline forces such as air defense , strengthen command and control, and advance defense plans through forces designed to protect specific allies,” he summed up.
