Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrsky introduced the new commander of the operational-strategic group of forces Khortytsya to the personnel — Major General Mykhailo Drapaty.
Syrsky reported this on Telegram.
Drapaty headed the OSGV Khortitsa
Drapaty will replace Major General Andriy Gnatov, who will continue to work in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as Deputy Chief of the General Staff.

Syrsky thanked the previous commander of the OSGV Khortitsa, Gnatov, for his service.
— The enemy is concentrating its greatest forces in those areas that belong to the operational zone of the OSGV Khortitsa. Our task is to hold the line, inflict maximum losses on the Russian occupiers and take care of the Ukrainian defenders, — the commander-in-chief reported.
Syrsky also set priority tasks to contain the onslaught of Russian troops, who have a numerical advantage in these areas.
Recall that President Volodymyr Zelensky recently appointed Mykhailo Drapatiy as commander of the Khortytsia Joint Forces Group.
He also noted that Drapatiy will remain in the position of commander of the Ground Forces, which will allow the army to effectively combine combat activities with the proper training of brigades.
