The US State Department denies information about discussions with the Ukrainian side so that the country allegedly enters into negotiations with Russia to end a full-scale war.
US State Department spokesman Vedant Patel told reporters about this, commenting on a number of reports in foreign media. According to him, any negotiations will depend only on Ukraine.
“We have repeatedly said that nothing should happen to Ukraine without her. We do not know anything about conversations with Ukraine regarding negotiations outside the Peace Formula,” he noted.
The State Department spokesman stressed that only one thing remains constant: Moscow is not interested in truly peaceful negotiations or ending a full-scale war against Ukraine. He stressed that the United States continues to support Ukraine.
