On Independence Day, the invaders intensified rocket attacks on Ukraine. Therefore, in different areas, sirens announcing air raids sounded more than once.

  • Kyiv region– 7 alarms, longest – 1 hour 40 minutes, shortest – 42 minutes
  • Chernihiv region – 8 alarms, longest – 1 hour 40 minutes, shortest – 42 minutes;
  • Sumy region – 7 alarms, the longest one is 2 hours 3 minutes, the shortest one is 33 minutes;
  • Zhytomyr region – 7 alarms, the longest – 1 hour 40 minutes, the shortest – 42 minutes;
  • Cherkasy region– 9 alarms, the longest – 1 hour 45 minutes, the shortest – 26 minutes;
  • Kirovograd region – 12 alarms, the longest – 1 hour 46 minutes, the shortest – 20 minutes;
  • Odessa region – 8 alarms, the longest – 1 hour 43 minutes, the shortest – 23 minutes;
  • Nikolaevskaya region – 9 alarms, the longest one is 1 hour 23 minutes, the shortest one is 29 minutes;
  • Kherson region– 7 alarms, the longest – 1 hour 17 minutes, the shortest – 15 minutes;
  • Zaporozhye region – 11 alarms, the longest – 4 hours 18 minutes, the shortest – 4 minutes;

  • Luhansk Oblast – no alarms, continuous air raid continues since April 4.

Situation in the regions

  • Zaporozhye. On the night of August 24, the invaders attacked Zaporozhye twice. During the first attack, an infrastructure facility in the Shevchenko district of the city came under fire. The second attack damaged 6 high-rise buildings.
  • Kharkiv region. At night, the Russians attacked the Novobavarsky district of Kharkov. In the afternoon, the Russians fired on Dergachi. In the evening, explosions were heard again in Kharkov.
  • Dnepropetrovsk region. The occupiers attacked the Nikopol, Krivoy Rog and Dnieper districts of the region. In addition, Russia launched rocket attacks on the Sinelnikovsky district. Under the rubble of one of the houses, there were 2 children who were rescued. In another house, a mother with 2 children was found under the rubble, an 11-year-old boy died. The invaders also hit the Chaplino station and hit passenger cars – 15 people were killed, 50 injured.
  • Luhansk region. The head of the OVA, Sergei Gaidai, reported on 35 powerful attacks and rocket attacks on the region.
  • Nikolaevshchina. In the Bashtansky district of the region, as a result of shelling, air and missile strikes, there is destruction among houses, there are no casualties. As a result of the strike on the city of Novy Bug, 9 people were injured.
  • Poltava region. The invaders hit the military airfield in Mirgorod 4 times. There are no injured or victims, there is damaged equipment.
  • Cherkasy region. Air defense forces shot down an enemy missile.
  • Chernihiv region. Our military “landed” 2 Russian Orlan-10 drones.
  • Vinnytsia. Air defense forces shot down an enemy drone.
  • Khmelnytsky region. Russians hit a critical infrastructure facility with two missiles.
  • Donetsk region. Heavy fighting continues in the region. A significant number of settlements are daily under fire from tanks, artillery and enemy aircraft.
