Antimonopoly Committee Head Kirilenko Suspected of Illegal Enrichment

NABU and SAP reported suspicion of illegal enrichment of UAH 56.2 million and declaring false information to the head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine Pavlo Kyrylenko.

It is noted that today, August 14, with the consent of the SAP prosecutor, NABU detectives reported suspicion of illegal enrichment of UAH 56.2 million and declaring false information to the current head of a state body with special status.

We are talking about the former head of the Donetsk OVO Pavle Kirilenko.

According to the investigation, in 2020–2023, the suspect, while holding the position of head of the OVA, acquired 21 real estate properties and a luxury car, registering the property in the name of his wife's relatives.

Among the property acquired by the official:

  • 7 apartments in Kyiv and Uzhgorod with a total area of ​​688.5 sq. m;
  • a house near Kyiv with an area of ​​over 220 sq. m. m;
  • 2 garage boxes;
  • 6 parking spaces;
  • 3 non-residential premises with a total area of ​​over 190 sq. m;
  • BMW X3 car.

However, the difference between the value of the above-mentioned property and the cash (income, savings) of the official and his wife amounted to UAH 56.2 million.

In addition, the suspect did not indicate the acquired property in the declarations of the person authorized to perform state functions for 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

The actions of the head of the AMCU are qualified under Art. 368-5 and Part 2 of Art. 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
