The Verkhovna Rada is still debating the issue of economic reservation from mobilization of military-liable men.
According to him, this idea will help channel shadow funds, which people use to evade mobilization, into the state budget.
People's Deputy from Servant of the People, member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Fedir Venislavsky spoke about this in an interview with Radio NV.

The journalist asked the people's deputy whether the idea of economic reservation is still being discussed in the Rada, or whether it has already been “finally buried”.
— I don't think we have completely buried it. This issue is very debatable. It directly correlates with the millions that are earned on shadow schemes. And one of the proposals is to transfer this into a legal channel — so that people who want to pay off their debts have the opportunity to get (highly paid, — Ed.) work with the corresponding deductions to the budget. And this is an alternative (to getting rid of, — Ed.) these shadow schemes, — noted Fedir Venislavsky.
At the same time, the people's deputy added, he does not see today in the walls of the Verkhovna Rada a sufficient number of votes to support such economic reservation”.
According to him, this will create in society “another divide between those who have a good job, who have money, and those who do not have such money“.
We recall that earlier, the Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko indicated that the State Budget for 2025 did not take into account additional funds that may come from economic reservation.
