The Republic of Mauritius joined the communiqué of the Global Peace Summit, which was held in Switzerland from 15 to 16 June this year.
This was stated by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. According to the head of state, he is grateful to the Republic of Mauritius for joining this historical document.

— The circle of countries that signed the communiqué of the first Peace Summit continues to expand. All our countries need a lasting, comprehensive and just peace, — affirms the President of Ukraine.
Vladimir Zelensky noted that Ukraine appreciates the fact that Mauritius is one of those African countries that consistently demonstrate respect for the UN Charter and international law.

The head of state emphasized that Ukraine is ready to work with all peace-loving countries to develop a joint peace framework based on the Peace Formula as the basis for stopping full-scale Russian aggression.
According to the latest update, 90 countries have already signed the Peace Summit communiqué.
